ETHOS
Hathaura is a jewellery and clothing studio rooted in slow, intentional creation.
Designed for the free-spirited, the brand explores the quiet connection between people, the earth, and the objects we choose to carry with us.
Every piece is made by hand, using recycled and responsibly sourced metals wherever possible, giving new life to once-treasured materials. Ancient craft techniques sit at the heart of the process, allowing each design to form organically rather than be forced – imperfect, individual, and full of character.
My work is guided by nature in all its forms: the fluid movement of everyday life, the grounding energy of the earth, and the wider rhythm of the universe. Each piece becomes a small bridge – between past and present, place and memory, maker and wearer.
Hathaura exists to honour slow fashion, conscious production and objects that are made to be worn, lived in, and kept.
THE DESIGNER
Beth is the founder and maker behind Hathaura.
Her work centres around timeless jewellery shaped by travel, place, and the natural world. Working primarily with precious metals, she specialises in hand-carved and cast pieces that carry a sense of story – transforming organic forms and found inspiration into modern heirlooms.
What began as a personal healing journey slowly evolved into a creative language. Today, that language lives through Hathaura: soulful designs that echo intention, memory, and untamed beauty.
Jewellery, for Beth, is more than adornment. It is a quiet form of self-expression – a way to honour individuality, strength, and personal leadership without needing to be loud.
The name Hathaura itself reflects this philosophy. Drawn from a blend of Hindi dialect and the idea of energetic presence, it speaks to the connection between hands, aura, and creation. Across cultures and centuries, humans have adorned themselves with objects of meaning. Hathaura continues this lineage – remembering where we come from while moving forward with intention.
Alongside jewellery, select clothing pieces are handmade in India in small, family-run workshops. Using natural dyes and locally woven fabrics, each garment is created through close collaboration with skilled artisans who share the same respect for craft, ethics, and longevity. The result is a balance between earth-conscious fashion and refined pieces designed to be treasured for years to come.
THE JOURNEY
My journey into jewellery began in London in 2018, when I enrolled in a silversmithing course and unexpectedly fell in love with the process. Wanting to learn more, I travelled to India with the intention of deepening my understanding of the craft – not knowing how profoundly that decision would shape my life.
While there, I spent three months working closely with a local woman, often side by side for up to twelve hours a day. What started as learning quickly became something much deeper. By the end of my time there, we felt like sisters. The culture, the rhythm of daily life, and the traditional Indian approach to metalwork left a lasting imprint on both my designs and my way of creating. That experience marked the true beginning of my path as a jeweller.
India also led me somewhere unexpected – into clothing design. Working with local tailors, my drawings were brought to life in small, home-based workshops where craftsmanship and care were deeply personal. Supporting these close-knit, ethical communities became an integral part of how I wanted my brand to exist.
Travel has always been woven into my work. Since 2013, I’ve rarely stayed in one place for long – spending winters snowboarding across Europe, often living from my self-converted campervan. Inside it, I built a makeshift workbench so I could continue making jewellery wherever I was. Creating on the road allowed me to move freely while staying connected to my craft.
More recently, time spent in Indonesia became another pivotal chapter. Surrounded by like-minded people who saw my vision and encouraged me to trust it fully, I found renewed confidence in my work. I was fortunate to collaborate with inspiring individuals and work from studios found along the way – creating, exploring, and connecting wherever I landed.
I live guided by curiosity and instinct, letting the wind lead me from place to place. Each location leaves its mark, quietly shaping the pieces I make.
Hathaura is not just a brand – it is an extension of how I live. A way to move freely, create honestly and build a life rooted in purpose, craft and connection.
The universe always knows where to take you.
This is the story of Hathaura.
Welcome.
