All pendants and chains that are coated in a 18ct gold is made primarily of sterling silver. Due to the nature of the plating process, the gold layer is susceptible to wear over time.

To keep you're jewels longer lasting and avoid tarnishing; ensure you remove when; excercising, sleeping, bathing etc. Avoid contact with harsh chemicals and keep safely in provided woven pouch when not wearing.

Allow 1-3 days for all pieces to be checked over and polished.

Gold vermeil is a type of gold jewellery made to last. The base metal is sterling silver which means your piece is made from precious metals only. The process involves coating a thick layer of gold over the base metal (electroplating), and is designed to withstand time, lasting a lot longer than regular plating.

To avoid tarnishing, it is recommended you remove the item of jewellery when showering, swimming etc. and keep protected from oil based creams/moisturizors.
